A Taste of Chengdu

Long Chao Shou (Dragon Wontons)

Long Chao Shou, known as “Dragon Wontons,” is a beloved Sichuan specialty from Chengdu, famous for its bold, spicy flavors. This classic dish captures the essence of Sichuan cuisine with its silky wrappers, savory fillings, and flavorful broth.

Each wonton is wrapped in a thin sheet of wheat and egg dough, giving it a tender yet satisfying bite. The filling blends minced pork with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a touch of Sichuan pepper for that signature numbing kick.

The broth is a light, aromatic stock made from simmered chicken or pork bones, seasoned with soy sauce and topped with scallions, cilantro, or chili flakes for extra flavor.

Long Chao Shou comes in two delicious styles:

* Soup Long Chao Shou — comforting and savory.
* Dry Long Chao Shou — tossed with chili oil, vinegar, and Sichuan pepper for a bold, spicy finish.

Whether enjoyed in a warm broth or coated in a fiery sauce, Long Chao Shou is a must-try Chengdu classic that brings the true taste of Sichuan to your table.
